CODE OF CONDUCT

 

 

  • General Rules :

    • Students must communicate with their teachers, friends and other in English only, which is the medium of instruction of the school,

    • No valuable or undesirable articles, mobiles should be brought by the students within the premises of the school campus.

    • Student will not be granted half day leave.

    • In case of sickness or long absentees a leave letter and proper Medical Certificate should be submitted, otherwise name of the student will be struck off from the register.

    • The school reserves the right, without assigning any reason to expel a student, if it is considered to be in the interest of the school.

    • Students must carry their Tiffin to School. Parents are not allowed to send the tiffin during school hours this is implemented for the security of the students.

  • Request to Parents :

    • All communication should be addressed to the Principal.

    • Parents are always welcome to put forth their positive suggestions or complaints for the improvement of our school and are requested not to criticize any teacher in presence of their ward.

    • Please intimate in writing to the Principal / H.M. any change of address or Telephone numbers immediately and also write in the school diary.

    • Visitors or parents are not allowed to meet any child during school hours without the permission of the Principal / Head Mistress.  Parents should in no case try to go up to the class rooms.

    • Parents / Guardian must see the Principal / class teacher on all the parents  teacher meeting to know the progress of their ward.

 

  • Discipline :

    • Parents must make sure that their wards attend the school regularly.

    • Students should be polite and disciplined wherever they go.  They should always      remember that their school is judged by their conduct.  Good behaviour brings good name to the school.

    • Students must be punctual to school.  If they are late continuously for three days they will not be allowed to attend the classes and marked as “Absent”.

    • Parents are requested to check that their wards reach home in the time after school.

 

  • Admission :

    • Admission are open to all.  Forms will be issued from 1st January, 2014 student seeking admission have to appear for an Entrance Test on the given syllabus. 

    • Admission is granted strictly on the basis of merit.

 

  • Birth Certificate and Transfer Certificate of the last studied school (if any):

    • Only original Birth Certificate of Municipal Corporation or Court Affidavit for Nursery to 1st Standard and Transfer certificate of recognised school is required for New Admission. Original Birth Certificate / Transfer Certificate will not be returned back after the admission.

    • Transfer certificate should be counter signed by AEO/BEO. Once  Transfer Certificate is submitted it will  not be given back  for any corrections.

    • The students who are taking admission in classes Nursery to Ist Standard, Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/BC) of the student is compulsory.

    • For the classes from II to X Standard the entry of caste (SC/ST/OBC/BC) is compulsory in  Transfer Certificate.

 

  • Rules for Fees :

    • Timing 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for vacation timing 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

    • Fees are charged for 12 months.  Fees for the months of September and October should be paid in September for the months of April and May in April.

    • All the fees should be paid by the 15th of every month failing which a fine of Rs. 50/- per month will be charged.

    • No written reminders will be sent.  Hence, Parents and Guardians are advised to take care regarding payment of fees in time as per the fees structure of the school.

    • If fees or other dues are outstanding for more than 2 months the student will not be permitted to appear for examination and also liable to be removed from school.

    • This is an unaided institution the fees structure may be revised from time to time to meet the additional expenses incurred by the school.

    • The admission / any other fees should be paid in single installment.

    • Fees once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.

      •  Caution Money is refundable only when the student completes the academic year after issuing Transfer Certificate.

      • Parents should submit original receipt of caution money with an application, otherwise the same will not be refunded.

    • Bank cheques will not be accepted for payment of fees.

 

  • Regarding Transfer Certificate :

    • If any student gets seat in central school, Navodaya School, Sainik School or any other School, should pay the fees for the whole academic year. 

    • If parents desire to take Transfer Certificate they have to apply before 31st May otherwise fees will be charged for three months.

    • If applied for Transfer Certificate in June, then the applicant has to pay three months fees and other charges.

 

  • Attendance of Pupil :

    • Attendance is compulsory on the first working day (re-opening) of the school and on the last working day before every vacation.

    • Out station leave is normally not granted.  But in case of emergency, parent / guardian should come personally with an application seeking leave for their ward.

    • Prior permission of the Principal/ Head Mistress has to be obtained for absence of a child.  If he / she is absent from the school without leave continuously for one month, the   name will be struck off from the roll.

 

  • School Uniform :

    • Student must come to school in the prescribed School Uniform every day.  Parent / Guardian must ensure that their wards always attend the school in neat and clean prescribed uniform.

    • Nursery to U.K.G. :

      • Girls : Red Checks frock with attached Tie and Black Ribbons.

      • Boys : Red Checks Shirt with attached Tie.  Red Half Pant.

      • Blue Socks with Red Stripe and Black Shoes.

    • I to X Standard Girls : Blue and white checks waist coat and skirt, sky blue shirt, Navy Blue Leggings and Black Ribbons.

    • I to VI Boys : Blue and White checks waist coat, sky blue shirt, Navy Blue half pant.

    • VII to X Boys : Blue and white checks waist coat, sky blue shirt, navy blue full pant.

    • Navy blue socks with Sky Blue coloured stripes and black shoes.

    • Regular uniform should be worn on all the days except on the following days.

    • On PT Days : Wednesday VIII to X White uniform and White Shoes / Socks & White Ribbon (Girls)

    • Friday :  V to VII White uniform and white shoes / socks & white ribbon (Girls)

    • Saturday : I to IV White uniform and white shoes / socks & white ribbon (Girls)

    • On CCA Days :

      • Girls : House T-Shirt and Checks Skirt, Black Shoes and Blue Socks.

      • Boys : House  T-Shirt and Blue Half / Full pant (as per the prescribed uniform)

    • Black shoes and Blue Socks.

    • Wednesday     : V to VII

    • Friday              : I to IV

    • Saturday         : VIII to X

    • Students both Boys and Girls are not allowed to wear jewellery to school.(Long Ear-Rings, Anklet, Chain etc.) wrist watch is not allowed for I to VII standard students.

    • The prescribed uniform is also a must during FA’s and SA’s.  Students without         prescribed uniform will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and on parents meeting.

 

  • School Session :

    • School re-opens on 3-6-2014 (for students).  The school academic year is from 3rd June, 2014 to 15th April, 2015 and for IX & X standard academic year begins in the last week of March.

 

  • School Timing :

    • Nursery to U.K.G.-8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    • I to X                          8:15 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.

 

  • School Syllabus :

    • The school follows the C.B.S.E. Syllabus from Nursery to X Standard and State Syllabus from  VIII to X Standard with English as medium of instruction and Hindi and Kannada as languages.

 

  • Bus Facility :

    • School is providing bus facility to the students.  Once the student is enrolled for the bus service he / she is not allowed to withdraw his / her name.  Full year fees should be deposited at the beginning of the year.  Parents are requested not to give the bus fees to the bus driver  or attender.  The school authorities are not responsible for any such dealings.

 

  • Hostel Facility :

    • We have started hostel facility in the Gurudwara Campus from VIII to X Standard for the convenience of the students who travel up and down every day from distance places.

 

  • Examination Scheme :

    • The school will be conducting FA’s and SA’s for promotion to the next class, Weightage of FA’s & SA’s will be taken into consideration.
